From the Blue Ridge Mountains to the coastal barrier islands, this land is worth protecting.
For nearly three decades, CTNC has partnered with landowners, allied organizations, communities, elected officials, and more to conserve our most treasured and iconic places. We have protected over 35,000 acres of wild and scenic viewsheds, we have helped build our conservation muscle across the state, and win significant public funding for land protection projects from our mountains to our coast.
Conservation Trust for North Carolina was established in 1991 to advance the pace of conserving land in our fast-growing state. In the decades since, we've made a profound difference, courageously conserving over 35,000 acres along the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway.
But the pressure is on to do much more. Communities across our state are being challenged to build greater resilience against diminishing land and water resources, the impacts of changing weather patterns, and natural disasters. As North Carolina continues to grow, its farms, forests, and scenic views are disappearing.
Join us in protecting our state's unmatched beauty and help us build resilience for all North Carolinians - community by community.
